The UFC is heading back to Canada. The promotion announced Saturday during the UFC Edmonton broadcast that UFC 336 is scheduled to take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Jan. 30.
The upcoming card will be the promotion's first trip to Toronto since January 2024. That event featured a middleweight championship main event and saw Raquel Pennington defeat Mayra Bueno Silva to capture the vacant bantamweight title in the co-main event. UFC 336 will mark the eighth numbered event hosted in the Canadian city.
No matchups have been officially announced for the card thus far. In a press release, UFC CEO Dana White expressed his enthusiasm for returning to the market, stating, "I’m excited to partner with the Ministry of Sport and bring UFC back to Toronto. I love Canada and Toronto has been home to some of the biggest moments in UFC history. It’s always incredible to put on an event there, and I am excited to get back next year."
