Following his victory over Renato “Money” Moicano at UFC Vegas 123, Australian lightweight Tom Nolan is setting his sights on top-tier competition, singling out former KSW champion Mateusz Gamrot as an appealing future matchup.

Speaking in a video posted by UFC on Paramount+, the 26-year-old praised the Polish contender's fighting style and explained that preparing for Gamrot would push him to elevate his skills, just as his camp for Moicano did. “I would like to fight Gamrot if I could pick one,” Nolan said. “Yeah, I think it would force me to upgrade. Like, I had to get better for this fight.”

Despite expressing interest in the matchup, Nolan stopped short of calling for an immediate booking and stressed that there is no need to rush. Having recently relocated from Australia to New Zealand to join City Kickboxing, the lightweight prospect plans to return to his team, assess where he needs to improve, and consult with his coaches before deciding on his next move.
