Rizin Fighting Federation has announced two title defenses for Super Rizin 6, scheduled for Dec. 31 at Vantelin Dome Nagoya in Nagoya, Japan. Undefeated featherweight champion Rajabali Shaidullaev is set to headline the event in a title defense against Kyoma Akimoto.
Shaidullaev (20-0) enters the matchup following a unanimous decision victory over former Bellator MMA titleholder A.J. According to Sherdog, the upcoming bout against Akimoto (13-1) is expected to be Shaidullaev’s final outing under the Rizin banner before he joins Most Valuable Promotions in 2027.
In the second championship contest, women’s super atomweight champion Saori Oshima (17-7) will put her belt on the line against Natalia Kuziutina (11-1). Kuziutina earned the title opportunity after submitting Rena Kubota at Super Rizin 5 this past September.
The year-end fight card also features a rematch between lightweight champion Luiz Gustavo and Mikuru Asakura.
