The Ultimate Fighting Championship is heading back to Australia with a lightweight headliner. Australia's Quillan Salkilld is scheduled to face France's Benoit Saint Denis in the main event of UFC Sydney on Feb. 7 at Afterpay Arena, with the card airing on Feb. 6 in the United States, Sherdog reported.
Salkilld enters his second career UFC main event riding a 13-fight winning streak. After dropping his professional debut in 2021, he has gone undefeated across 13 consecutive bouts. Following a contract-winning performance on Dana White's Contender Series in 2024, Salkilld has compiled a 6-0 record inside the Octagon, earning five first-round finishes and picking up victories over Mateusz Gamrot and Beneil Dariush in his recent outings.
Saint Denis will aim to bounce back into the win column following a first-round defeat against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 329 in July, where he was submitted in 52 seconds. Prior to that setback, the Frenchman known as "God of War" had built momentum with four straight stoppage victories. Saint Denis made his promotional debut in October 2021, eight months after Salkilld's initial pro fight.
