Paddy Pimblett argued that Movsar Evloev gave up too quickly against Alexander Volkanovski in the main event of UFC 333.

Alexander Volkanovski retained his Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight title on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, stopping challenger Movsar Evloev in the main event of UFC 333. The champion secured a technical knockout victory at the 4:54 mark of Round 2, handing Evloev the first defeat of his professional career.

However, UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett shared a critical assessment of how the fight concluded. Speaking on his YouTube channel, "The Baddy" insisted that Evloev could have survived the round had he stayed active during the final moments instead of curling up under Volkanovski's attack.

"Just rolled over," Pimblett said. "When there's five seconds left, you just gotta keep moving so the fight stays on."

Prior to facing Volkanovski (29-4), Evloev (20-1) had compiled an unblemished record with victories over Lerone Murphy, Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen, and Diego Lopes. Meanwhile, the reigning featherweight champion expressed interest in competing again following his successful title defense.
