Norma Dumont Throws Condoms, Cash at Ailin Perez in UFC Vegas 121 Faceoff

Bantamweight contenders Norma Dumont and Ailin Perez escalated their personal rivalry Friday morning ahead of their co-main event bout at UFC Vegas 121 at the Meta APEX. Both fighters made weight for the contest before stepping in front of the cameras for their final pre-fight staredown while carrying their respective national flags.

The staredown took a dramatic turn when Perez performed her signature twerk routine. In response, Dumont tossed condoms directly at her, smiling and telling Perez, "You need this." As Perez reached down to pick them up from the floor, Dumont threw cash at her and shouted, "You pay whore with money. Take it, it's yours."

The incident capped off a tense buildup between the two. Dumont highlighted her psychological strategy leading into the matchup, claiming Perez lacks shame in her personal life and stating, "Her biggest weakness is her mind, and that’s where I’m going to work, I’m going to get inside her head. I’m already winning the fight." Perez countered with finish intentions of her own, stating, "My team is saying I’m going to knock her out, I want to finish her, I want to put Norma to sleep."
