Natalia Silva is confident that Brazil is on the verge of capturing every women’s championship in the UFC before the end of the year. With Mackenzie Dern currently reigning as champion, the nation could sweep all three divisions if Silva captures the flyweight title and Amanda Nunes claims the bantamweight crown in the coming months.

Silva, who has built an 8-0 record inside the Octagon featuring wins over three consecutive former champions, earned her shot at the vacant flyweight title after Valentina Shevchenko relinquished the belt to treat an injury. Facing fellow contender Wang, Silva prepared extensively for the matchup by spending a month training at high altitude in Mexico. In an interview with MMA Fighting, Silva emphasized that she has always viewed herself as a champion and is ready to prove it to the world on fight night.

Meanwhile, Nunes is booked to challenge champion Kayla Harrison in the co-main event of UFC 334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Silva expressed full confidence in her compatriot's abilities to reclaim the title, noting that simultaneous reigns across all three divisions would be a monumental achievement for their home country.

“Three Brazilian champions at the same time would be a milestone in history,” Silva said. “It would be a milestone, a historic moment for women’s and Brazilian MMA.”
