Undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev believes he is entering his prime as he prepares for his first UFC championship opportunity. Evloev is scheduled to challenge Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title at UFC 333 on Oct. 24 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

In an interview with Mike Bohn, reported by Sherdog, the Russian contender described his preparation as the best training camp of his career, stating that he feels stronger and more conditioned than ever. "This is my best camp," Evloev said. "I feel I’m in the best shape of my life.

The title fight has come at the best time. This year especially, I feel I got more power than before. I always had good strength and conditioning, but now I feel even better… We’re confident to fight with a guy like Alex.

We’ll respect him even after we beat him. Nothing but respect, but this is my time."

Evloev (20-0) has long pursued a championship opportunity, with Volkanovski repeatedly supporting his case. Although all 10 of Evloev's UFC victories have come by decision, the unbeaten challenger enters his upcoming title bid fully confident in his progression and physical peak.
