Michael Page Out of RAF 14; Brendan Allen Steps In vs. Alexander Shlemenko

Michael Page has withdrawn from RAF 14 due to timing issues, allowing UFC middleweight contender Brendan Allen to step in against Alexander Shlemenko on Oct. 23.

Michael Page's post-UFC combat sports debut has been put on hold. Page was originally scheduled to face Alexander Shlemenko at RAF 14, but he will no longer compete on the card. According to a person with knowledge of the promotion's plans reported by MMA Fighting, Page's withdrawal is simply due to "timing."

Stepping in to replace Page is surging UFC middleweight contender Brendan Allen, who will make his promotional debut against Shlemenko. The bout comes on exceptionally short turnaround, taking place just 13 days following Allen's previous main event appearance.

In addition to the middleweight shift, other roster additions were confirmed for the card. Bella Mir is set to return to the promotion following a setback on Dana White's Contender Series against Alex Apodaca—the biggest upset in the show's history—and a promotional debut defeat to Alexis Gomez at RAF 3 last November. Also joining the lineup is Invicta and LFA veteran Chase, who makes her RAF debut riding a three-fight winning streak, which includes an August submission victory over UFC veteran Pannie Kianzad for Fusion Fight League.

RAF 14 is scheduled for Oct. 23 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The event is headlined by Arman Tsarukyan vs. Dillon Danis, with Khamzat Chimaev taking on Robbie Lawler in the co-main event.
