Julian Erosa will make his final walk to the Octagon this Saturday at UFC Vegas 123 in Las Vegas when he faces Jeong Yeong Lee. In an interview with Fanatics View, the 37-year-old featherweight veteran confirmed that his Oct. 31 matchup against Lee will serve as his retirement fight, regardless of whether he wins or loses.
Erosa explained that establishing a definitive end date was crucial because walking away would otherwise remain difficult. He noted that winning could tempt him to keep competing, while losing might leave him chasing redemption. "I haven't really made it a big deal, but this will be my last fight," Erosa said. Coming off two consecutive defeats, including a stoppage loss to Lerryan Douglas in March, "Juicy J" aims to finish his career with a victory.
Fatherhood and long-term health also heavily influenced his decision. Erosa shared that his priorities shifted following the birth of his son, and he plans to move his family from Las Vegas back to his home state of Washington. Erosa first entered the UFC in 2015 after appearing on "The Ultimate Fighter," earned a contract through Dana White's Contender Series in 2018, and rejoined the promotion in 2020. Since his 2020 return, he has made 13 Octagon appearances, bringing his UFC record to 9-9.
