Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka is set to return to the octagon against the undefeated Navajo Stirling in the main event of UFC’s upcoming card in Doha, Qatar, on Nov. 21.
Prochazka (32-6-1) enters the bout aiming to bounce back from a first-round knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg in an April title fight, a contest where he had his opponent injured before being stopped. The Czech fighter remains undefeated in non-title bouts since joining the UFC in 2020, with his only promotional defeats coming in championship clashes against Ulberg and twice to Alex Pereira. He now faces Stirling (11-0), who holds a flawless 6-0 record inside the octagon. The Dana White's Contender Series signee has already competed three times in the UFC this year, picking up knockout victories over Bruno Lopes, Ion Cutelaba, and former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.
The Nov. 21 card will also feature former bantamweight titleholder Aljamain Sterling squaring off against rising featherweight prospect Kevin Vallejos. Additionally, a lightweight clash between Brian Ortega and Dan Hooker is slated for the event.
Hooker is making a relatively quick turnaround following a first-round knockout loss to Salahdine Parnasse earlier this month, while Ortega returns to action after pulling out of a recent matchup. The event lineup is also set to feature Ikram Aliskerov and Aleksandre Topuria.
