Jean Silva returns to the spotlight on Saturday as he headlines Noche UFC at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, taking on rising prospect Jose Miguel Delgado. For Silva, the bout represents an opportunity for redemption following last year's event, where he was knocked out by Diego Lopes in the Mexican Independence Day headliner—a breakthrough result that propelled Lopes into a title fight against Alexander Volkanovski.
Silva, ranked No. 6 in MMA Fighting's Global Rankings, was originally scheduled for a different matchup before Delgado stepped in to replace an injured Yair Rodriguez. Delgado enters the five-round headliner looking to capitalize on the biggest opportunity of his career. Standing nearly six feet tall with just over a dozen professional fights to his name, the tall featherweight has a chance to shake up the division's contender picture if he can pull off the upset against the Brazilian veteran.
The Noche UFC event will feature a total of 13 bouts, starting with a seven-fight preliminary card at 2 p.m. ET on Paramount+, followed by a six-fight main card broadcast beginning at 5 p.m.
