Former UFC stars Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis are set to renew their rivalry on the wrestling mat. Real American Freestyle announced Wednesday that the two combat sports veterans will meet in a wrestling match at RAF 15, scheduled for Nov. 28 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The matchup marks the RAF debut for both competitors.
This will be the third meeting between the two fighters, who previously fought twice under the UFC banner. Pettis emerged victorious in both Octagon encounters, stopping Cerrone with a first-round knockout in 2013 before claiming a unanimous decision win in their 2020 rematch.
Both men have since stepped away from active MMA competition. Cerrone announced his retirement from mixed martial arts following a submission defeat against Jim Miller in 2022. Pettis last competed in professional MMA in August 2022, when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Stevie Ray in the Professional Fighters League.
