The UFC announced during Saturday's UFC 332 broadcast that Charles Oliveira will make his return to headline UFC 335 against Diego Lopes on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, with the honorific BMF championship on the line.
Oliveira (37-11, 1 NC; 25-11, 1 NC UFC) captured the BMF belt at UFC 326 by earning a decision victory over Max Holloway across all judges' scorecards. Prior to that title victory, "do Bronxs" submitted Mateusz Gamrot with a face crank at UFC Fight Night 261 in October 2025. Lopes (28-8, 7-3 UFC), fighting out of Lobo Gym MMA, enters the matchup after rebounding from a lopsided decision loss against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 325. Lopes weathered early pressure against Steve Garcia at the UFC White House event to secure a second-round knockout victory.
The year-end card also features former two-division champion Alex Pereira (13-4, 10-3 UFC), who will look for his first victory in the heavyweight division when he squares off against Sergei Pavlovich (21-3, 9-3 UFC). Pereira came up short in his bid to become a three-division titleholder after losing to Ciryl Gane in the co-main event of UFC White House in June. Pavlovich recently dispatched Tallison Teixeira in just 39 seconds in the co-headliner of UFC Macau, with the winner of this pairing potentially moving closer to a heavyweight title opportunity.
Additionally, UFC 335 will showcase a middleweight clash between rising contenders Joe Pyfer and Bo Nickal.
