Arman Tsarukyan Targets Justin Gaethje and Alexander Volkanovski
Arman Tsarukyan claims UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje is trying to duck him and is also open to facing Alexander Volkanovski.

Arman Tsarukyan is evaluating his future opportunities and has set his sights on several prominent UFC names. Speaking to Helen Yee Sports ahead of his RAF 14 headliner against Dillon Danis, Tsarukyan discussed potential matchups with lightweight champion Justin Gaethje and featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski.
Gaethje captured the undisputed lightweight championship in June at UFC White House with a victory over the previously undefeated Ilia Topuria. However, Tsarukyan suggested that Gaethje is hesitant to share the Octagon with him. "Someone is trying to duck me," Tsarukyan said, adding that the promotion plans to give him clarity on Gaethje's status at the end of November regarding whether the champion will accept a major payday or opt for retirement.
Should the bout with Gaethje fail to materialize, Tsarukyan expressed strong interest in a matchup with Volkanovski, who previously defended his title against Movsar Evloev. Tsarukyan described Volkanovski as a tough opponent who is getting older, calling the pairing a stylistically favorable matchup. Beyond Volkanovski, Tsarukyan noted he is also willing to face Paddy Pimblett, Topuria, or the winner of the Charles Oliveira vs. Diego Lopes bout.
