Former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski joined forces with fellow Australian and NFL star Jordan Mailata inside the cage for a series of unique physical challenges, MMA Fighting reported.
The 6-foot-8 Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman and Super Bowl champion engaged in several contests alongside the former UFC titleholder. The two athletes went blow-for-blow on a punch machine before testing how well Mailata could absorb body strikes from Volkanovski. Despite questioning his own judgment at times during the punishing drills, the massive lineman remained a good sport throughout the video.
The collaboration also featured mixed martial arts grappling, where Volkanovski managed to secure a choke submission on Mailata despite the towering football player easily lifting the featherweight into the air. The challenges concluded with Mailata using his football blocking skills to protect a dummy from Volkanovski's advances.
